Tina P. Schwartz is an author and founder of The Purcell Agency, which she started in July of 2012 after 12 years of writing and marketing her manuscripts and those of others. She sold her first book contract in 2004 and sold 10 non-fiction titles for one author in the Teen and Youth markets to traditional publishers. Since opening the agency, she has sold 14 manuscripts, including Young Adult non-fiction along with children's chapter books, middle grade readers, Young Adult novels, and several adult titles, as well. Before opening The Purcell Agency, Tina had a successful career in Advertising, Radio Sales and Marketing.
Tina credits her success as an agent to being passionate about selling manuscripts and to being an author first. She knows the feelings, questions, and anxieties authors face, and she is empathetic to the process. She looks forward to speaking to OCWW members once again and has signed four authors from OCWW already!
